I’ve had the pleasure to witness a few Sun halos in my life, and it’s always a special occurrence for me. On this particular day I was with a friend and we had split up. I was walking the path along the water and photographing various scenes just to warm up my camera for what might occur. I then came upon this scene and was enjoying seeing the river wind through the snow field leading to the mountain. Then suddenly the sun Halo appeared! I was so excited!
